Scott McAllister is the VP - Digital Acquisition & Early Engagement Marketing.  In this role, he is responsible for defining new approaches to leverage Social platforms to identify, market to, and convert new business.  Additionally, he is overseeing development of the next generation Data Management Platform for targeting and segmenting prospects based on their Social Graph information.

Prior to his current role, Scott was Vice President of Digital Strategy & Innovation for the American Express Interactive division.  In this role, he developed the Enterprise's long term Digital capability strategic road map on a global level.  Additionally, he owned development and delivery of Mobile App and Web experiences for American Express, where his team developed and launched the Company's first iPad tablet app.  Scott also oversaw development and application of governance standards for Digital work across the Enterprise to ensure consistency as well as utilization of best practices.  Last, he led global tagging and Digital analytics, where the team defined and delivered a new Omniture infrastructure and developed Enterprise level reporting of the Organization's digital performance.

Before his Digital Strategy role, Scott was Vice President of Consumer Prospect Internet and Media Card Acquisition for American Express.  He was responsible for developing and delivering on the Marketing strategies for the American Express Site, Search, Online Banner Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Social Media and Direct Response Television aimed at acquiring Consumer cards.  He also had responsibility for managing Technology investment for the Consumer Acquisition organization.

Scott also spent a period of his career with American Express taking on increasing levels of responsibility in Membership Rewards, at the Director and then Vice President level, running the Merchandise reward category for the Program.  In this role, he managed all of the partnerships as well as catalog Marketing efforts to generate redemption in the category.  He also had responsibility for the ShopAmex.com rewards site.

Prior to his time with American Express, Scott worked for DELL for five years, taking on a variety of Marketing and Business Development roles in both the Consumer and Small Business divisions that included running the $2B Dell Inspiron Consumer Notebook Brand as well as leading Marketing Operations for Dell's refurbished product business – DellOutlet.com.
   
Scott holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and has a BS in Finance from Indiana University - Bloomington.  Prior to business school, Scott worked for General Electric in Finance and Six Sigma Operations Management where he earned his Black Belt.
