Michael Parker is the VP of Enterprise Marketing and Campaigns, where is he is responsible for the enterprise ad messaging and creative, as well as the global solutions and campaigns. Focused on driving awareness, understanding, and leads for $4B in revenue, Michael is vocal and passionate about the new world of integrated digital campaigns leveraging all the new media avenues. He works with the regional Field Marketing teams.
He has been a pioneer in "social networking in the enterprise.” He created SymantecTV driving a 300% increase in views two years running, and building a telemetry-based tracing program for driving ROI. In 2008, he developed a viral video campaign that delivered a #1 video on YouTube with 1.2M views and subsequent push on Facebook generating 2M views. That campaign won the OMMA Award for Best B2B Integrated Online Campaign. In 2010, his Windows 7 campaign hit #8 on YouTube and was nominated for the OMMA award for Best Integrated Online Campaign.
Michael previously ran product marketing for Symantec's leading Windows data protection solution. Overall, Michael has 15+ years in marketing including product, corporate marketing, digital marketing, advertising and campaigns at Fortune 500 and start-up firms. He has also been a product manager, and is the developer of a patent pending gesture-based technology.
He is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Economics.
